Victor Senna Noronha
Guitar teacher
Hello, I am Victor! My story with music started when I got my first acoustic guitar at 14 years of age. I became self-taught by trying to learn my favorite songs—back then, my musical taste consisted mostly of rock music such as Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, and Metallica. Later, inspired by Brazilian musicians such as Tom Jobim and Joao Gilberto, I quickly became interested in learning about music theory. I was fascinated by the harmonic richness of Brazilian music. I started taking music more seriously, and took pleasure spending hours a day studying music theory and honing my skills in my instrument. This passion for music inspired me to apply for the Berklee College of Music Aspire Summer Program in 2022, in which I was lucky enough to get accepted with a partial scholarship. During five weeks I was fully immersed in music, surrounded by amazing musicians from all parts of the world. Currently, I maintain my passion for music by helping to host weekly jam sessions at UofT Scarborough through our jazz club.
